  • 🎭 Edinburgh Fringe Comes to Tallinn The Edinburgh Fringe Society is sending Kirsty Fraser and Martha Haskins to Tallinn to conduct information and training sessions on how to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe — the world’s largest arts festival.These sessions are open to artists, producers, theatres, students, and others in the arts sector. The event is held in Heldeke in Tallinn.

  • 🌍 Oopus & Kass-Talsi-Minn to Represent Estonia at WOMEX 2025 Two Estonian acts — Oopus and Kass-Talsi-Minn — will represent Estonia at the Worldwide Music Expo (WOMEX) in Tampere, Finland, from October 20–26. The selection highlights Estonia’s growing presence in the global world-music scene. Oopus blends folk and electronic elements, while Kass-Talsi-Minn explore a minimal electroacoustic sound rooted in Nordic influences.📎 news.err.ee

  • 🎼 “Arvo Pärt at 90” Celebrated in London The Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir performed a tribute concert at London’s Barbican Centre for Arvo Pärt’s 90th birthday, conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste. Critics praised the performance as deeply moving, with standout interpretations of Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, Fratres, Adam’s Lament, and Te Deum.
